Executive Chef | Masanobu Akami
Chef Akami joined the Imperial Hotel in 1976, inspired by Nobuo Murakami, one of the people who made French cuisine popular in Japan. Chef Akami spent 27 years there working as a chef at the coffee house “Eureka” and as a sous chef at the French restaurant “Les Saisons” and in the banquet department. In 2003, he moved to Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers and worked as executive chef. He was also in charge of cooking at the 150th-anniversary event of the opening of Yokohama Port and APEC JAPAN 2010.
